A MacBook displays a landscape desktop. As its lid lowers, the visible desktop stays in place while blur and shadow deepen toward the top. Opening the lid clears the effect. Screen Fold is optional and normal lid-close sleep stays the same.
Choose Duo, Plane, Silk, Shade or Frost in Settings → Screen Fold. Duo keeps content in place with progressive blur and shadow. Preview the other finishes in the app to compare how they feel.

The Keyko app supports Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. Screen Fold additionally needs a supported MacBook lid-angle sensor.
App compatibility alone does not guarantee live tracking. A desktop Mac has no MacBook lid. In the app, check the lid status in Settings → Screen Fold before enabling the effect.
A tested model-by-model compatibility list is not available yet. An untested model should not be assumed supported or unsupported.
Press Control–Command–F to pause or resume. Normal lid-close sleep stays the same.

You can turn off Screen Fold or revoke its Screen Recording permission in macOS System Settings.

Live tracking requires a supported MacBook lid-angle sensor and macOS 14 or later. Meeting the general app requirements does not establish that your MacBook supports live tracking. Check the lid status in Settings → Screen Fold.
No. Normal lid-close sleep stays the same. Screen Fold is a visual effect, not a keep-awake feature.
Yes, for the live Screen Fold effect. It is separate from Input Monitoring, which is used for keyboard sounds across apps.
